About Me
Hi there! I am Joy, the founder of OptimiSE.
After graduating from the University of Oxford with an Engineering degree, like many others, I joined and have since worked at multiple industry-leading giants and innovative startups as an Aerospace Systems Engineer.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen a consistent challenge: companies eager to implement Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) often struggle to integrate effectively with Systems Engineering. Even worse, it’s often dismissed as too complicated or “maths-y”.
With 7+ years of experience, I’m thrilled to have perfected a complete methodology and workflow that combines Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The phenomenal results I’ve achieved in my previous roles inspired me to start OptimiSE, where I now offer consultancy services and courses to those interested in adopting these powerful techniques.
